April 17 : A source told The Sun newspaper: ‘Having a baby has upped her desire to release positive music and she wants her new songs to be a celebration of life, love and motherhood.‘She plans to get back on tour in North America in October, followed by a brand new album.’
And the dates will become part of a new tour titled State Of The World, set to hit North America this October.
‘Last year’s incomplete Unbreakable World Tour is being revamped to become the State Of The World Tour and she is already scheduling summer rehearsals,’ the source added.

As for the big announcement about her tour, which had been hyped by a countdown on her website, Jackson said she has changed its name to the State of the World tour and it will resume Sept. 7 at the Cajundome in Lafayette. Produced by Andrew Hewitt and Bill Silva Presents in association with Live Nation, the initial 56-city run will make multiple stops across the U.S. and Canada, with a final North America date scheduled for Dec. 17 at Philips Arena in in Atlanta.

Although Jackson has been keeping a low profile since the split from Wissam Al Mana in April, a source told The Sun that she is ready to put herself out there: “Janet has been fiercely private about her life in the past but feels the need to keep her fans in the loop with what life has been like since she went into hiatus ten years ago.”
“The show will run as a ten-part documentary and will feature recording sessions in the studio, co-parenting her child with Wissam and preparing for the European and Asian legs of her tour. Netflix [is] negotiating a big sum for the rights to the show as they expect it to perform well,” the source added.

Duldulao's challenge for State of the World was starting the show from scratch, this time with "free-r, stronger, more powerful, clean" choreography.
"I had to go hard and create something so new with what we had," Duldulao explains. "Whether it be content, video, staging, different songs in the set list and playing with different sounds, certain sections with the musical director, costume changes… but we did it, I did it! The fans clearly will get a show. It's not going to be the Unbreakable show. No, they're going to get the State of the World Tour show."
"And I think when it comes to motherhood, you'll see how [Janet] has matured as a woman onstage," he adds.
